What’s included for free?
Live tracking, simulator weather, free camera, descent guidance, flight alerts, airport diagrams, taxi routes, flight finding, rosters, SimBrief dispatch, landing scores, coaching debriefs and your logbook. Your profile, passport, achievements and weekly landing leaderboard are included too. Pro adds the extras listed above.
Do I need an iPad or a second device?
No. Use Vector on iPad, iPhone, or an Android phone or tablet. You can also stay entirely on Windows: install Vector Bridge and choose “Open Vector app” to open the full EFB in a window.
Which simulators does Vector support?
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and X-Plane 12. Vector Bridge connects to your simulator on your Windows PC and supplies the flight data to Vector.
Where do the weather and airport diagrams come from?
Live wind, outside air temperature, QNH and visibility come directly from your simulator. Vector draws its airport diagrams from OpenStreetMap, with coverage for 5,000+ airports and taxi routes to your gate. See our data sources and licenses.
Does it work with VATSIM, IVAO and BeyondATC?
Yes. Vector follows your flight with VATSIM, IVAO, BeyondATC, your simulator’s built-in ATC, or no ATC at all. BeyondATC and sim ATC connect automatically, and Pro shows just the instructions (squawk, frequency, altitude) as chips.
How does the mobile connection work?
Keep your mobile device and sim PC on the same local network. Open the address shown in Bridge, pair using its code, and add Vector to your Home Screen. Bridge needs to be running to supply live simulator data.
How is my flight data handled?
Core simulator connectivity is local-first, using Bridge and your paired device or the Windows app. Pro cloud sync is optional. For details on stored data, profiles and connected features, read the privacy summary.
